Your information
Privacy Policy
Little Chapel is published by Kiwi Tree and operated by DAVID YUAN HSIN HUANG, an individual. For privacy questions or requests, email dvdandroidapp@gmail.com.
This notice covers Little Chapel, its account services, and this support website. Free local play does not require an email or a purchase. The app's prayer journal is a game upgrade, not a place to submit personal prayer text.
What stays on your device
Your Prayer balance, upgrades, story progress, reading selections, badges, settings, activity dates, and challenge information are saved on your device. The save also keeps identifiers and recovery records for interrupted account actions. Earlier local save backups may remain.
Android uses an app database. The web game uses browser storage and caches app files for later visits. A sign-in session is stored to keep your account connected. A small local cache holds store offers and a record that the account's welcome reward was acknowledged; it does not replace the server's balance or purchase verification.
Linking an email does not back up ordinary game progress. Clearing app or browser data, uninstalling, or losing the device can erase that progress. Device and browser storage controls let you remove local data.
Accounts
Google Firebase supplies account sign-in, cloud functions, and the account database. Starting an account creates an account identifier. Linking an email and password lets you sign back into that account. Purchase checkout requires a verified linked email. An account without a linked email may become unrecoverable if its sign-in session is lost.
The service records the account identifier, game edition, Spark balance, purchased scenes, credits, spending, rewards, purchases, refunds, and the versions and time of terms you accept. Requests may include save, quest, chapter-stage, upgrade, checkout, and transaction identifiers; an upgrade or story bought with Sparks also sends the Prayers it saves and your Chapel rank, which set its price. They let the service verify the requested benefit, prevent duplicate credits or spending, and recover interrupted actions. They are not a full cloud save.
Automated checks compare the account, product, available Sparks, and earlier requests. A check may delay a credit or reject a request. Contact support if something looks wrong so we can review it.
Purchases
Google Play handles payment for supported Android purchases. The app uses Google Play Billing with server verification through our Firebase service. The service processes the product, purchase token, checkout and account association, payment status, and order or support reference to deliver and reconcile Sparks. Little Chapel does not ask for your full payment-card number.
Firebase App Check and Google Play Integrity help verify that requests come from the registered app. They process app and device integrity information to protect the service. Google's store records are handled under its own privacy policy and obligations.
Optional playtest reports
Local playtest reporting is off by default. Turning it on keeps up to 1,000 events on your device across visits: game milestones, elapsed time, the date and visit number of each event, stage or rank, approved scene and product identifiers, Store actions, purchase outcomes, and selected save errors. The app also keeps a random install number, its first day of use and a visit count on the device. They are not linked to your account and are sent only inside a report you choose to send.
The report does not include your email, account identifier, receipt or purchase token, payment amount, nickname, friend code, or prayer and Bible text. Nothing is sent unless you separately choose to copy or send the report. Turning reporting off clears the in-app report; it cannot recall a copy already shared.
Sending uses a signed-in request. Stored reports do not attach an account identifier, but separate service logs may associate the request with an account or internet address. Scheduled cleanup removes submitted reports older than 30 days in batches; a cleanup backlog can delay removal. Staff reviewing reports use them to find faults and improve the game.
Challenge codes and support
A challenge code includes a nickname, score, date, and rules version. Anyone with the code can read and forward it; it is not encrypted. Imported codes are stored locally. Little Chapel does not host a public leaderboard or chat.
If you email us, we receive what you include, such as your contact address, app version, purchase reference, and description of the issue. We use it to respond, verify an account when needed, and resolve the request. Please leave out passwords, sign-in codes, purchase tokens, full payment-card details, and unrelated sensitive information.
This website and service providers
This static support site contains no account form, payment form, advertising script, analytics script, or site storage code. Email links open your email application; no message is submitted by this website.
Google hosts this website (Firebase Hosting) and the app's online services (Firebase Authentication, Cloud Functions, Cloud Firestore and Cloud Logging). These services log requests, including IP addresses and request details, for security and operation.
Support and privacy email is handled in Gmail (Google). Firebase Authentication (Google) sends sign-in, verification and password-reset emails.
The Android app uses Google Play Billing for purchases, and Firebase App Check with Google Play Integrity to confirm that requests come from the genuine app.
Online records are stored and processed in the United States (Google Cloud region us-central1). If you use the app from another country, your information is transferred to the United States and handled under Google's data-processing terms.
Access to information is limited to people and providers who need it to operate the requested services, handle support, protect the service, or meet applicable obligations. We may disclose information when legally required or necessary to address a documented security or fraud issue.
How long information remains
Local game data remains until you or your device removes it. Sign-out and account deletion do not remove all local game data or earlier backups.
Payment and account records currently have no automatic expiry in the service. These include the closed account's identifier, ledger, purchase and refund records, reward claims, payment-event records, and terms-acceptance records. Their approved retention and review rules are: kept for seven years after the account's last purchase or wallet activity, for tax, refund and dispute evidence, then removed or anonymized in an annual review.
Support correspondence and privacy requests: kept for two years after the conversation ends.
Provider logs and backups: Google Cloud request and error logs are kept for 7 days; Google's audit logs of administrative changes are kept for 400 days. We do not make separate backups of the online records.
Account-deletion job and handling records: kept for two years after the request is completed, to show it was handled and to stop late purchase events from recreating a deleted account.
We do not promise immediate removal from provider backups or Google's independent store records. You can ask us to review retained information.
Your choices and requests
You can play locally without an account, leave optional reporting off, choose whether to share a challenge code, and remove device data. To delete an online account, use the account-deletion instructions.
Email dvdandroidapp@gmail.com to ask for access, correction, deletion, or another privacy choice available where you live. Tell us what you want to do and how we can reply. We may need a proportionate ownership check before disclosing or changing account information. If a request cannot be fulfilled, we will explain the reason and any available review route. This does not remove the right to contact a relevant regulator.
If you live in California, you may ask what personal information we hold about you and ask us to correct or delete it, and we will not treat you differently for asking. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. In the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia and New Zealand you may also complain to your national privacy regulator: the ICO, the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, the OAIC or the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of New Zealand.
